A clear gel is applied to the area being examined while a handheld transducer creates detailed images.
3. Comfortable & Safe
Ultrasound uses sound waves—not radiation—and most exams are completed in a relatively short time.
4. Results
Your provider will review the images and discuss the results with you once they are available.
